I have made the executive decision to not get dressed today as its a cold, overcast winter day. After I finish writing this post my boyfriend and I are going to play multiple games of 7 Wonders. So a perfect pyjama day really. We’ll crank the heater right up and fall out over my inevitable 7 Wonders victories.
This year I have really curbed my spending on beauty products. It wasn’t an intentional decision, but as time wore on I noticed I was doing it. I then made a conscious decision to stop buying unnecessary (if there is such a thing) beauty products.
Today I wanted to share with you some of the products I have been dying to get my hands on.
Inika Long Lash Mascara $52.00 –
This mascara has been on my radar since it was released last year. The reason I am yet to buy is because of the price tag. It is one mega-expensive mascara. Once I have used up my current mascara, I will treat myself this them gem and pray to the makeup gods that it lives up to its hype.
Weleda Skin Food $22.90 –
I have been wanting this cream since the beginning of the year. Its a hydrating moisturiser which you can use anywhere on your body and I’ve been eyeing it up as a moisturiser for my face after I’ve been on a long haul flight. I can just imagine it being the most calming and soothing cream I’ll ever own.
Stila Heavens Hue Highlighter $51.00 –
I have been wanting this highlighter for well over a year. My sister has one and it always looks so nice on her. Whenever I have gone to buy this highlighter there has been something that I needed over it and because it is so expensive I haven’t been able to justify adding it to the bill. Before this year is up, I will own this highlighter, in the shade Transcendence.
Too Faced Primed and Peachy $32.00 –
Whenever I am in Sephora I will have a play with this primer – it has a really nice cooling effect and I love that it smells of peach. Whether it will by my favourite primer of all time, I highly doubt, but I still want to give it a decent try. Once my current primer is all used up I will be purchasing this.
Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel $94.00 –
Its no secret that I have had bad skin of late. The lady who does my eyebrows gave me some Dermalogica samples, which I really liked. So I would like to give the brand a go and try their products. I basically want their entire range, but will start off the with the cleanser. Again, once I am out of my current cleanser I will get myself this.
Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask $55.00 –
I have owned this mask in the past and absolutely loved it! The morning after I’ve used it my skin looks radiant, plump and hydrated. It smells divine, does what it says it does and feels heavenly to apply. Hopefully I’ll have this back in my skincare routine sooner rather than later.
And that’s that. I hope everyone has had a great weekend and if you have tried any of these products I’d love to hear what you think of them.
Until next time
Anita xx
I haven’t tried the Weleda Skin Food in ages – I used to use it on my hands. It IS kind of heavy, but I suspect it would be amazing after a long flight. They have some smaller size tubes at Whole Foods if you can stop by one & want to test it out for a bit less money…plus it’s more travel-friendly 😉
love and stuff,
Christine
